Farfetch Discounts Top 75% Off

Farfetch is known for bringing the world's most popular fashion boutiques, local and emerging designers and brands to a single website. It almost makes us sad that we can shop our favorite Italian boutiques right here in New York. Some might say it takes away the adventure but it's realistic to think that anyone can hop on a plane several times a year.

One of the other great things about Farfetch is that it makes markdowns available globally. Right now, the site is offering discounts of up to 75% off. We are told this is the last week to take advantage of these steep discounts.

Here's a Thomas Wylde top that's that's 75% off and comes to $172 from $685. Then there is this Delpozo dress that's $525 from $1750. Here's a Givenchy Rick Owens shirt dress that's $260 from $865.

Shoes and bags are on the pricey side and could be found for less in many other destinations. Another thing that we've noticed is that many American brands are more expensive when sold from foreign stores. We suppose that's what happens when you pay duty twice. Speaking of which, all prices include duty and returns are free for 14 days after your purchase is received.

Moda Operandi Final Markdown & Extra Discounts

Moda Operandi is ready to close out the last of its Summer inventory. Starting Wednesday, the online fashion boutique will begin it's final clearance sale and offer an extra 30% off. Use the code EXTRA30OFF to engage the extra savings.

When all the math is said and done, you can find many pieces discounted nearly 90% off the original price. Some of the highlights include, these adorable espadrilles that come to just $70, a Lenny Niemeyer strapless one-piece swimsuit is also just $70 and an embroidered skirt from Alexis is about $170. Some of the more extravagant items include, this Naeem Khan dress that's $700 from $3000, a Dice Kayek jeweled dress is $625 from $2625 and a Marni flower print maxi-dress $600 from $2900.

The four day sale will run through Saturday and then the sale merchandise will be removed from the site. We can assure you this is M'O's rock bottom markdown. It's not going to get any better than this. Fashion week is less than a month away and the site will begin to promote off-the-runway trunk shows.

Moo-nolo Charity Sample Sale is Back

What could possible be better than a Manolo Blahnik sample sale? A bucolic summer weekend road trip that includes Manolo heels (and flats) at sample sale prices.

Arethusa Farm Dairy, which is located in Bantam, CT, will be hosting a sample sale where the famous heels (and flats) will be priced starting at $150. According to our inside sources, the selection will include a full range of sizes and a variety of styles among summer and winter collections.

The famous dairy is owned by George Malkemus and Anthony Yurgaitis--the couple who own Manolo Blahnik USA. Unfortunately, the farm's famous high quality milk and cheese will not be available at the sale but those details are subject to change.

The sale will physically take place at the Bantam Fire House and the sales will benefit Arethusa Farm Scholarship Fund for University of Connecticut Agricultural Studies. Bantam is located in Litchfield, Connecticut, which is about 2.5 hours from Manhattan. That means this sale-ing will require a bit of a road trip. If leaving 'the Island' is out of the question, there are a few suggestions for heavily discounted Manolos in the above scroll. (This pair is even signed!)

Here's to sample sale priced Manolos and a beautiful summer weekend!

Real Couture Finds at Wearhouse

The term couture may be more overused than the word literally. It 'literally' makes me cringe. There is nothing at H&M or Juicy Couture that resembles anything couture. Haute couture is truly the art of fashion. Every aspect of the garment is created by hand. Many of these garments are commissioned directly with the fashion house and cost upwards of $100,000.

For this reason, we were truly shocked to stumble upon Valentino couture tucked away in the tiny suburb of Long Island. Wearhouse is a massive retail space that is essentially an designer outlet with all the furnishings of a high-end boutique. There are helpful sales people and even a tailor on premises.

Starting Sunday, Wearhouse is hosting an end-of-season clearance sale where Valentino couture will be discounted 80% off. The multi-brand luxury discount store also includes a variety of other gorgeous items from Missoni, Chloe, Marchesa and Naeem Khan that will be reduced 70% from retail. Accessories, bags and shoes from Anya Hindmarch, Stuart Weitzman and Piazza Sempione will also be discounted 70%.

If you're driving back to there city from the Hamptons, this is the perfect pit stop. Couture can make you forget even the worst traffic.

Sunday, August 13 through Thursday, August 17

The IT-It: August Vacation Packing List

There is nothing we don't love about Summer. Even 100-degree weather can't get us down. (Not that hot weather has been too much of a problem this season.) Our favorite part of Summer is Agusut vacations. Before checking out it's always nice to pick up some fun pieces of fashion regardless of where you plan to unwind.

From basking in the infinity pool of Hotel du Cap, dancing on tables in Mykonos or just slipping into flip-flops for long beach days, Nordstrom has some great pieces to make the end of the season a bit more fun. We absolutely love these limited edition 'Happy' earrings from Ashley Williams ($158), denim shorts from Vejas ($475) are much more than you're average jean shorts and these Jacquemus slides ($355) are easy but anything absolutely not basic.

Not everything you pack needs to be haute. Here is a ruffle shift dress ($89) that is perfect to throw on to eat brackfast, after the beach or for a walk into town. Here is a white gauzy maxi dress ($55) that will look go perfectly when paired against Mediterranean blue waters and you can never go wrong with an itty-bitty bikini👙  ($36).

Nordstrom is always the perfect destination to shop trends and everything you need for Summer. The store has all the most cutting edge designer pieces and inexpensive options too. The best part is Nordstrom's first-rate customer service, which includes free shipping both ways.

The It-It: The Return of the Pointy Toe

It never fails. As soon as I throw my arms up and give an item away it comes back into style with a vengeance. Only last season, I sold a haul of pointy toe shoes. There were jeweled Prada kitten heels, eccentric Maud Frizon printed heels and old Giuseppe Zanotti sky-high heels. All had exaggerated pointy toes that I thought were unwearable.

In a matter of months, pointy toe heels are back with a vengeance. Some of our favorites include Balenciaga's pointed slides, Celine's pointed toe pumps, Prada's satin kitten heels with faux pearls and Gucci's cherry heels. These Stella McCartney checkered pumps are even on sale and are quite the steal for just $300 from nearly $1200.

It's hard to choose which pair to choose for Fall. It even hurts more to know that I had so many unique styles sitting in my closet for so many years. Too bad that there isn't a closet that expands over time so that we can keep everything we have ever loved.

Neiman Marcus Discounts Hit 90% Off

Neiman Marcus clearly wants to eliminate all traces of Summer and is clearing out the last of seasonal merchandise with a big extra discount. Right now you can save an extra 35% off if you buy three or more sale items. We all know that means, you might have to buy a few extra items but it will  pay off big.

When all the math is said and done, you can find many pieces discounted nearly 90% off the original price. Here is a Tom Ford velvet dress that was initially priced at $6450. Once all the discounts are applied the dress will cost only $855. Here is a Victoria Beckham bustier that's just $232 from $1430, Dior sunglasses are $190 from $450, Valentino loafers are $285 from $1100 and Jimmy Choo printed mule heels are $200 from about $800.

To get the 35% off discount you must by three items. We suggest sorting from low prices to high, if you don't know what to add to your cart to hit the minimum. It's always nice to have a few new pairs of underwear or pajamas. Who can't use a new pair of jeans?

This sale runs trough Wednesday. We can assure you this is Neiman Marcus's rock bottom markdown. It's not going to get any better than this. The next promotions are all gift card events until Fall merchandise goes on sale.

Global Fashions Designer Sale

Global Fashions has always been and remains the leading distributer of luxury brands names worldwide.  The designs of their clothing, accessories and shoes are always on top of everyone's must-have list. The problem with luxury fashion is the ever-rising and staggering price tags. Haven't they become crazzzzy?

Starting Monday, Global Fashions will be hosting a multi-brand sale. There will be a spectacular assortment of designer clothing for men and women, which will include Valentino and Anya Hindmarch with discounts of  80% off clothing. Shoes and bags-- ranging from top selling classics to iconic seasonal pieces-- will be 70% off retail.

The best part is that a lot of the merchandise is from Fall and Winter collections, which means you can get a jump on updating your 'back-to-school' wardrobe. We got a sneak peak and were particularly impressed by the men's selection. There are lots of great jackets, sneakers and backpacks for guys. That's in addition to the ornate clothing and gorgeous shoes and bags for women. You can click here to see a few pictures we snapped during walkthrough.

In addition to the Valentino assortment, there will be merchandise from Alberta Ferreti, Anya Hindmarch, Dolce & Gabbana, Garavani, Marchesa, Moschino and Red Valentino.  You don't want to miss all that.

The sale will only run for four days. If you attended the last sale, you know how quickly the best merchandise was gone. Don't say we didn't warn you!

The It-IT: House Of Holland

It's no news that streetwear is hotter than almost any French or Italian haute house. Vetements, Off-White and ReadyMade are all offering the fashion set, luxury coolness.

Shoe designer, Sophia Webster wearing House of Holland

We've never been keen on chasing the masses and have developed an overwhelming fondness for House of Holland. The British label hit the fashion scene in 2008 with its playful wit and bold prints. The brand is notoriously a favorite of Pixie Geldof and Alexa Chung. The best part is that under-the-radar brand can be found on major markdown at various retailers.

Over at the brand's website, we found discounts of 50% to 70% off. We love this floral embroidered skirt  that comes to about $200. (The problem there is that shipping is about $20.)

Asos also carries a great selection and discounts are often as much as 70%. This embroidered dress is $183 from $460. These jeans are as cool as any pair from Off-White and are priced at just $93 from $316. The sunglasses collection is really statement making and the discounts are amazing too. How about these exaggerated mirrored cat-eyes that are $85 from $240 or this striped pair that's a bit more tame but just as cool for $95 from $240?

Over at Farfetch you can find some great older pieces on sale like this Ratchet tee that's $35 from $115 and a heart midi-skirt is $115 from $105.

House of Holland is also sold at Opening Ceremony, on Howard Street, if you're looking to get your hands on the physical fashion.

Fivestory Clearance & Sample Sale

What we love about shopping at the Madison Avenue boutique, Fivestory is how the inventory goes beyond the basics and satisfies the needs of those looking for drama and haute. Think Balmain, Cushnie Et Ochs, Mary Katrantzou, and of course, Rosie Assoulin.

The problem with such style is the expense and the fast pace of trends. For this reason, we are always looking for an major markdown. Starting Tuesday, August 8, Fivestory will move all it's overstock to Soho where you will be able to save up to 90% off on many items. (You can click here to see what we found and bought at last season's off-site.)

If you're not apt to leave the seashore or travel downtown, we suggest you quickly popover to the Fivestory boutique (or website) right now. The discounts are 70% on many items and there is still a large size selection on even some of the most lust worthy items of the season.

We are in love with these Geanvito Rossi cap-toe heels that are now $240 from $800, an Off-White denim jacket with roses is $275 from $920 and a Rosie Assouline striped sweaters dress is $500 from $1700. Here is a Monse dress shirt that's anything but a basic dress shirt and this Natasha Zinko dress looks like it was picked from a lavender garden in Provence. There is also a good assortment of Roland Mouret items.

There is no doubt that the deals at the off-site will be better than the current in-store discounts but the convenience of online shopping might be worth the premium. Items purchased through the online sale are also returnable, which can't be said about the Soho sale.

Net-A-Porter Sale Ends Tuesday

The last minute is always the most productive minute the day and the second hand is gaining speed on sale season. If you've been putting off making a purchase on Net-a-Porter, we suggest you take this moment and do it NOW. The site's seasonal sale ends Tuesday and once it's done the entire catalogue of merchandise is removed from the site.

Right now, you can find a wide variety of merchandise discounted 70%, plus an additional 20%, which brings the total savings to a grand 80% off retail. So what's especially discounted that warrants a last look?

There is a ton of swimsuits and coverups still available. We especially love this Mara Hoffman bikini that's now under $80 from $240 or this Emma Pake bikini that's only $100 from $435. Here is a Eberjay crocheted coverup that's about $80 from $240. Remember, we still have all of August, early September, Mykonos and fall vacations to get our wear.

Stepping away from the pool and out of the sand, this Mark Cross colorful shoulder bag caught our eye. It's currently reduced to $950 from $2400. (It's hard to gauge if it's even worth the $950-- but it's cute.) Anya's rainbow cross-body is now $450 from $1100. (There's no doubt that it's worth it 💙💛❤️.) Aquazzura classic lace-up shoes are just $218 from $725 and there are still lot os sizes. These Francesco Russo peep-toe heels are A-mazing and are reduced to $275 from $920 and Charlotte Olympia 'Love' heels are about $280 from $900.

Among the clothing, there is A LOT of Miu Miu and Prada. Most of it is about 70% off once you add the additional discount. Here is a Dodo Bar Or romper that's about $110 from $340, a Roksanda striped dress is $850 from over $2700 and this Roland Mouret top (which I own in navy and looks amazing on) and is now reduced to $280 from $875. (Do you think I need another??)

Remember, this sale only runs through Tuesday and then it's off the site. The next time you see this merchandise it will be on The OutNet and prices will be higher.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Restock

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale only runs for one more week. Procrastinating shoppers can rejoice that the site has been restocked with some of the most popular items. MatchesFashion Final Sale, Extra Discounts

It's hard to believe that we are half-way through Summer. The sun is setting a just enough earlier to become noticeable and markdown season is about to begin to wrap up.

Over at MatchesFashion, the discount is already 70% off and the site is closing out the season with an additional 20% off many items. Discounts have hit up to 70% and the extra promotion  brings the total savings to 80%. Shoppers should use the code EXTRA20 when checking out to engage the additional savings. The promotion ends Saturday, July 29.

Some of the sale section standouts include these wedge sandals from Gianvitto Rossi that come to just $200 from $850 and Gucci lace-ups and a Valentino bag are both currently reduced by 60%. This pink Peter Pilotto off-the-shoulder top is a very good deal for $310 from $1150 and we've always loved this Dodo bar Or top with pom-poms, which now comes to just $110 from $225.

The sale only runs for two more days. It's best to shop with anticipation of what you might need while there are big sales. There are few things worse than shopping under pressure and paying full price.

Neiman Marcus Discounts Hit 80% Off

The sale of all designer sales is here.

Neiman Marcus is now offering discounts up to 80% when you take an extra 20% off designer clothing, shoes and bags. This promotion is available in stores and online.

The shoe sale is the most interesting. Checking out the selection, there are a lot of shoes we've been eyeing that are now reduced to irresistible prices. These Tom Ford buckle shoes are reduced to about $400 from nearly $1780. Prada suede sandals are $190 from almost $800, flat slides are $118 from $500,  and  this one with ankle ribbons is reduced to $213 from $890. Jimmy Choo suede heels are about $400 from $1400.

The clothing selection is quite good too. Over here we found a Cushnie Et Ochs jumpsuit that's reduced all the way down to $340 from $1700, a fitted Roland Mouret dress is $440 from $2200 and a Thierry Mugler one-shoulder dress is $460 from $2300.

This sale runs through Wednesday (and then there will be a 'extra bonus day.') We don't expect prices to get any lower. We suggest you grab what you need now and wear it right away. After all, there is nothing better than wearing a great sale find while it's still in-season.

Bottega Veneta Sample Sale Disappoints

The Bottega Veneta doesn't open to the public tomorrow but employees got first look this afternoon and didn't leave very happy. Early shoppers say that the selection is lousy and prices are high, which doesn't bode well for the public that doesn't gain entrance until noon on Tuesday.

This evening, shoppers spotted duffles, bags and jackets but 'none were a great deal.' Most bags were priced between $800 and $1500 and any item of clothing that could be described as 'fashionable was $500 or more.' During past sales, bags were 60% off and shoes were priced at $100 a pair. This is clearly not the case. Saks Fifth Avenue currently has better discounts.

If you're looking for the best deals on Bottega merchandise, we suggest you keep an eye on the Bottega outlet, at Woodbury Common. If you hit the outlet correctly, you can find past season clothing discounted 85% off and bags reduced as much as 65%. Calling the outlet just before a holiday weekend is the best plan.

For now, we suggest you steer clear of this sale. Alternatively, you can hold off until the lines and prices dwindle towards the end of the week.

Manolo's Biggest Markdown of the Year

Monday is the start of the Manolo Blahnik super semi-annual sale. Usually the sale runs for just four days, but this year it's scheduled to run for more than two weeks or through Thursday, August 3. The extra long sale schedule is a clue that the selection will be much larger than usual. It's the perfect opportunity to stock up on classic and ornate shoes from the spring and summer collection at up to 75% off.

Styles are from the exclusive boutique collection and include some alligator. Prices are always marked by sticker dots, which usually range from $195 for a red dot up to $450 for a green dot. Most shoes and low boots-- even highly ornate styles-- are priced at $250. At the last sale, we only found one pair of shoes marked for $195.

The selection of current season “IT” shoes is much better at this boutique sale than at the sample sale or the department stores. Then there's always the increased enjoyment of shopping in the beautiful and wonderfully civilized atmosphere. Last season we attended the final markdown and there was no line. You can click here to see all the details from last season's final markdown.

The store can get crowded but at least there isn't usually a long line to get in. For those who can't make it to mid-town this July, We pulled a few online sales that offer similar pricing. If you're planning on going to the boutique, we suggest trying to attend towards the beginning of the sale week. There is usually no restocking. Styles and sizes always run low quickly.

Manolo Blahnik
31 West 54th Street

Monday-Friday 10:30am to 6pm

The boutique will close from 2pm to 3pm to restock

Bottega Veneta Sample Sale

It's hard to think of a lot of benefits to being in the city during a the hottest weeks of Summer. As an external optimist, we are always on the outlook for a silver lining. We suggest you grab an ice coffee and keep an eye on the annual Bottega Veneta sample sale, which kicks off Tuesday.

The sale starts early with a friends and family preview and then opens to the public at noon. At past sales, woven bags were snatched up quickly. Discounts were about 60% off. Shoes tend to also go very quickly, but that shouldn't be a surprise when prices range from just $100 for flats to $250 for boots.

The clothing selection is always a big draw too. During past sales tops were priced at just $100, dresses were $200 and coats were $300. The problem is always that the early shoppers scoop up all the best items. Security only allows between 20 to 30 people into the sale at a time, which means the wait times can be very long.

When we first started covering the BV sale, it was employees only and the merchandise assortment was epic. Now, shoppers can expect to find long lines and a questionable selection. Heading to this sale is somewhat of a crapshoot. If you do venture out, we suggest you apply extra sunscreen and abort the mission if the lines are too long.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Goes Public

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public Friday. We like to think of the promotion as a Fall pre-presale. It's a great opportunity to stock up on items that you will need as soon as temperatures start heading south or even some fun items you can enjoy now.

S'well water bottle $29 going to $45

Zadig & Voltaire Private Clearance Sale

Zadig & Voltaire is hosting it's biggest clearance sale ever. To access this private sale you must use this link. The best part is that there are no lines and everyone can participate because-- it's online!

The sale consists of a large assortment of Summer and previous Winter merchandise that is discounted between up to 70% off. At this time of year we are looking for key pieces to to transition from cool August nights to crisp September mornings. Check out this teal lambskin jacket that's $319 from $898, a black 'Rock' sweatshirt with gold lettering that's $54 from $180 and this cashmere sweater with leather fringe sleeves is $219 from $548. Charlotte Tilbury & Diptyque Sals

Makeup artist extraordinaire, Charlotte Tilbury, is hosting a sale of her fabulous cosmetic line. Prices are discounted about 30% off of retail-- which may not seem like a ton-- but there are lots of great (classic) items from which to choose.

We went for the Smokey Eye Evening look that's reduced to $52 from $75. It includes eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick-- basically everything you need for a night out. Here is the Daytime Chic look, which is the same price and includes our favorite primer "Wonderglow', eyeliner, mascara and a lip/chic stick combo. The sale section also includes a selection of brushes, gorgeous makeup bags and this contouring palate, which is a fan favorite.

The keen eyes over at Practically Haute, found a way to avoid sample sales lines and gave us reason to celebrate Christmas in July. The flash sale site, HauteLook, is hosting a sale of Diptyque holiday candles that are all reduced 50% off. The small size of Oliban is reduced to $17.50 from $35, the full size of Epices et Delices/Delicious Spices is $35 from $70 and the Oud Palao Eau de Parfum & Candle set is $99 from $200.

Just think of the memories you will have of shopping in July when you begin to enjoy these spicy scents. We can call that a bit of July in December.

MatchesFashion Discounts 70%

We've sorted and browsed through so many sales that it's hard to get excited. There is only so much one person needs-- no matter what the discount. We reluctantly cruised over to MatchesFashion and was quite surprised by the variety that's still available.

The discount hit 70% off and some items are even reduced 80% (but not much). Among the sale items, we found Rosie Assouline discounted 80%. Here is a pair of trousers reduced to $280 from $1400. (The brand is only discounted 60% off at Bergdorf Goodman.) There are also some very nice Christopher Kane pieces, like this folded pink-and-black dress that's $371 from $1400. For the beach, we found this adorable Lisa Marie Fernandez ruffle dress that comes to only $217 from $715, a Zimmerman deep-V one-piece is $150 from $375 and a tasseled beach poncho is $186 from $465.

Most of the shoes can be found less expensively at many other stores. One of the few standouts are these adorable Charlotte Olympia fruity slides reduced to $152 from $380. The same can be said for the bags, but we do like this rainbow Loewe piece that's reduced 50%.

As sale season winds down, it's good to keep an eye on some of the European sites. There is a lot more inventory from which to choose and prices must come down at some point.

Weekend Shopping: NAP, Intermix & The Outnet

After a sweltering hot week, the forecast is showing lots of rain. That's bad news for beach lovers but it also means you can shop without FOMO. This weekend, there are several wonderful sales. We are looking at discounts that are topping 85% off retail, which is major. Below are three of our favorite sales of the weekend.

Happy shopping and we'll keep our fingers crossed that Janice Huff is wrong and the sun will come out tomorrow...

I don't think many people realize how amazing this season's collection was at Intermix. There were so many pieces we've been tracking and now is the opportunity to pounce. We especially love the items from designers that aren't overly distributed. Right now, the discounts are topping 75% off. We've been like a hawk-eyeing this Maticevski top that's now just $190 from $1220 and this 'latte' dress looks even better on the body than in the pictures. A Cinq a Sept dress is about $70 from nearly $400. There are several pairs of Frame jeans that come out to $60 or less. This pair is just $35!!! Take note, all sales are final but you can't blame them when the discounts are this low.

The discount site, TheOutnet is hosting a clearance sale and the discounts are up to 85% off. Here is a Maison Margiela maxi dress/gown for only $350 from over $2300 and leather sandals for $200 from $1045. Steela McCartney sunglasses are $100 from $400 and a  one-shoulder jumpsuit is $326 from $1630. Trolling the site is definitely worth the time.

Nordstrom Anniversary Presale

Nordstrom is known for having great sales. There are two in particular that can send a city girl shopping in the burbs: The "Half-Yearly Sale" and the "Anniversary Sale." The Half-Yearly sale is clearance, usually towards the end of the season. (Like, now.) The Anniversary Sale is a presale before the new collection hits the department store floor.

Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale starts today. The sale consists of a catalog of pre-Fall merchandise that is discounted 25% to 40% off. Each department has its own special items that are featured in the pre-Fall sale. You can sift through the catalog right here.

The presale runs from July 12th to July 21st but is limited to customers who have a Nordstrom credit card holders. Afterwards, on July 21, the sale opens to the general public. Prices return to normal once the sale ends in August.

Back-to-school items are especially attractive during this Nordies sale. For example, you know your kids want new Adidas sneakers for the start of school and they are right here for $40 from $54. Big kid Stan Smiths are $80 from $110. (There is really no reason not to get them!) Over here are Converse with ruffles that are a-door-able. We love this rose gold bomber jacket for back-toschool and it's just  $45 from $68. There is also a large amount of swimwear in case you need to do a mid-season refresh. We even spotted Bugaboo Cameleon that's discounted nearly $400.

We are a bit choosier when picking pre-season items for ourselves but a classic Veronica Beard jacket with a removable sweatshirt lining is $500 from $750. We really like this oversized wool and mohair jacket that's  $600 from $900 and there is an really amazing selection of activewear with great discounts. We even found a S'well for $15.

The selection this season is the best we can remember. It seems as if designers are realizing that pre-gaming sale season is better than post-season markdowns. Don't forget to also check out the beauty deals. We are always a sucker for a new shade of lipstick or an updated nail polish

It's a novel idea to have the opportunity to buy new season merchandise at a significant savings. Identifying what you want for Fall can be difficult but surely worth the effort. Sometimes it pays to plan ahead.

Berdorf's Discounts Hit 80% Off

We highly suggest that you immediately Uber or click over to Bergdorf Goodman where you can now save an extra 20% off of Summer merchandise. Discounts on clothing already topped 75% and the additional promotion brings the final savings to 80%. As a matter of fact, the prices at our violet home-away-from-home are more reduced than, even, Neiman Marcus.

There is some serious fashion available at incredible prices. Here is a Delpozo 3-D blouse that comes to $184 from $920, a Veronica Beard mini-skirt is $80 from nearly $400,   a Valentino pajama top is about $600 from almost $2000 and a Caroline Constas top is only $100 from $385.

The discount on shoes and handbags are unchanged at 50% off but the extra 20% makes a big difference. This clutch from The Row is adorable and comes to $400, this Anya tote is $1400 from $3500 and Miu Miu shoes with ankle wraps are only $260 from $650. This is kind of random but we really like these black and gold New Balance sneakers that come to $90 from $225.

This will be the last markdown of the season at Bergdorfs. The best part is that sale merchandise is returnable. Not all stores-- ahem, SAKS-- is offering the same low prices and top service.

Farfetch Offers Extra 20% Off

The sale selections at our local haunts are getting pretty dismal but overseas stores are much better stocked and the discounts are close to rock bottom. For example, Farfetch started a promotion were sale merchandise is discounted an extra 20%. Use the code x20july17 to activate the extra markdown.

Some of the sale's highlights include items that are reduced close to 75% off. Take a look at these Chloe sandals that come to about $225 from nearly $1000, a Lanvin front-tie blouse that's $450 from $1845 and this Christian Soriano tulip print dress is about $300 from nearly $1500. The extra discount promotion also includes an assortment for men and children.

This promotion runs through Saturday, July 15. We suggest you take advantage of this extra discount while it lasts. Farfetch isn't like J. Crew-- where this is a big discount promotion every week.

Barneys Last Markdown: Extra 20% Off

This weekend, Barneys started the mother-of-all-sales by offering additional discounts of 20% off merchandise that has already been reduced by 75%. The sale promoption applies to all sale items.

We strongly suggest you start your shopping in the shoe department, where a large assortment of shoes are already discounted 60%. The additional savings brings to total markdown to nearly 70% off. The online selection isn't nearly as good as what you can find in stores but there are a few key pieces still available.

It's pretty slim pickings if you're shopping online for clothing too. Here is a Calvin Klein tunic that's about $200 from $1000 and this pretty smocked skirt is about $100 from $600. The selection is mainly comprised of hard-to-sell skirts and pants. Again, we are sure you can find more interesting items in the store.

This type of extreme markdowning, goes to show that even the least likable fashion can be sold at the right price. Next stop... Barneys online Warehouse.
